January 31, 2015

Welcome, brothers and sisters in Christ, as we gather for praise and prayer, Word and worship.

This Morning the message is Living in Peace. In the Sermon on the Mount, we hear Jesus say, "Don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself."  We believe in the power of God and his love for us, so our last sermon of this series will hopefully show us how to cope with our worries by ultimately trusting in God.

Next Week the message is You are Never Alone.  On this Sabbath, Bill Aumack will kickoff the series on Friendship. Many people are lonely, even when surrounded by others.  But God never leaves us alone, He is always with us. The Bible tell us one of God's name is Immanuel, which means God is with us. We will explore what does this promise mean for us?

Weekly Bible Passage: We are concentrating on learning Bible passages in 2015. Each week you will get a Bible passage on a business card to review and learn. We provided a snap ring so you can keep your Bible texts together. Reviewing the passage one or two times a day for 7 days should commit it to memory. At the end of the year you will have learned 52 new verses.

Saturday Bible Study: Saturday afternoons at 4 pm there is a Bible Study in the Fellowship Hall. This study covers the basics of Christianity and Seventh-day Adventism. If you are interested, or know of someone who maybe interested, invite them to join us.

Flower signups: You can signup to provide the worship flowers for next year in the foyer. Thanks for helping with the worship service!

The message on February 14th is Will You Be Mine?  This Sabbath happens to be on Valentine's Day, and the message is about God's invitation.  Jesus said, "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me" (Revelation 3:20).  God is always knocking on the door of our hearts, and it is up to us to let him in.

CREATION Health Series is underway on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. Invite your friends to come and get a healthy start to the new year.

The flowers today are from the Molinas for Yesenia, Isabel and Irela's birthdays.
