January 24, 2015

God invites us to come before him in worship -- and so we do this day. Let us focus solely on him for this brief time, to hear his Word and glorify our Savior, Jesus Christ.

This Morning the message is Where Are Your Treasures? This is a message on our giving to the Lord and how it reflects on where our treasures are.  The reality is that everything that we have comes from God, and I believe he gives us so we can learn the gift of generosity.

Next Week the message is Living in Peace. In the Sermon on the Mount, we hear Jesus say, "Don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself."  We believe in the power of God and his love for us, so our last sermon of this series will hopefully show us how to cope with our worries by ultimately trusting in God.

Weekly Bible Passage: We are concentrating on learning Bible passages in 2015. Each week you will get a Bible passage on a business card to review and learn. We provided a snap ring so you can keep your Bible texts together. Reviewing the passage one or two times a day for 7 days should commit it to memory. At the end of the year you will have learned 52 new verses.

Saturday Bible Study: Saturday afternoons at 4 pm there is a Bible Study in the Fellowship Hall. This study covers the basics of Christianity and Seventh-day Adventism. If you are interested, or know of someone who may be interested, invite them to join us.

Flower signups: You can signup to provide the worship flowers for next year in the foyer. Thanks for helping with the worship service!
