August 1, 2015

As the apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians (4:4-6), we come together as one body in the one Spirit, trusting in one hope through the one Lord Jesus Christ and the one God and Father of all. Welcome to worship!

This Morning the message is Water Over Thirsty Lands. The Bible show the children of Israel had faced droughts in their lives and how God had always intervened to save them. After all, Isaiah the prophet writes, "For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground;I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants." (Isaiah 44:3).

Next Week the message is God's Filtering System.  This sermon will be how many of us today have water purification systems at homes to clean our water but the Bible uses water to symbolize how God cleanses us. As the Word says, "I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols." (Ezekiel 36:25).

Teacher Dedication Sabbath: On Aug. 22nd we will have a Teacher Dedication for our school teachers and Sabbath School teachers. If you're a teacher, please plan on joining us.

Hawaiian Shirt Day is today. Whether you have a Hawaiian Shirt today or not, we are happy that you are here to worship with us.

Weekly Bible Passage: We complete list of Bible texts are listed on our website. Check out the graphic version of the memory verses on Facebook or in our mobile app.

The message on August 15th is Flooding with Joy. Do you remember singing the song, I got joy like a fountain? God wants us to have that joy as John writes, "Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them." (John 7:38)
