December 6, 2014

Welcome to worship! We gather to anticipate the joy of God's coming -- at Bethlehem, in our hearts and at the end of days.

This Morning Elder Gerard Kiemeney will share the message, The Value of One. Dr. Kiemeney is the LA Metro Region Director of the Southern California Conference, and his message will be on the impact that one person can have when sent by God.

Next Week is Pathfinder Sabbath. This will be the induction ceremony for the new year. Please come and support our Pathfinder club. Pastor Cary will share the message on this day.

Pajama Drive:  Every child should have a good nights sleep. Part of that is having a warm set of pajamas and good night book. To that end we are donating NEW pajamas for children in our area. Saturday, December 13th is the deadline to donate.  See the enclosed flyer for more details.

Flower signups: You can signup to provide the worship flowers for next year in the foyer. Thanks for helping with the worship service!

The annual production of The Journey to Bethlehem, hosted by San Gabriel Academy, will be presented on the evenings of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, December 5-7, from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on the campus of San Gabriel Academy. This interactive journey and musical concert is free to the public. Outdoor journeys depart throughout the evening. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors. For more details and directions, visit our website at www.thejourneytobethlehem.org.

Directory Pictures: We are taking pictures for the church directory this Sabbath. Today and next week are the only remaining days to get your picture taken.  We'd love to have current pictures of our church family, so stop by and see Tomas in foyer. Also stop by the table and double check your contact information. Thanks!

Downey Master Chorale concert here at  church on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 2:30pm. Tickets available from Laura in the office. Call her during the week to get your tickets.

Thank you!  The Aumack family would like to thank everyone for the love and support shown to them during the recent loss of Bill's Mom.  It's wonderful to have such a great group of friends. We look forward to the day when there are no more tears!
