April 11, 2015

Welcome to worship, where Jesus always reminds us that he has the final say -- and the final victory -- over the powers of sin and death.

This Morning is the message is Alive in Christ. This Sabbath will be the introduction to our small group series on the book of Ephesians.  We will spend the time summarizing Paul's message to the Christians of Ephesus. At the same time, our own walk with God will become more vibrant and alive.

Next Week is the message is Christ Redemption. We start our small group series with the first chapter of Ephesians which focuses on Christ's forgiveness of our sins.  Paul writes, "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace" (Ephesians 1:7).  During this time, we will realize that being alive in Christ begins with praising God for what Jesus had done for us.

Baptism! Be sure to welcome Anita and Grasiela into the church family today!

San Gabriel Academy invites you to Alumni Weekend, held April 24-26. Join us for golf, concerts, reunions, worship and more. For further information, email Bonnie Iversen at advancement@sangabrielacademy.org.

April 25th the message is Living in Grace. In our second installment on small group study, our message tells us that being alive in Christ comes by believing that our salvation cannot be earned by our own merits.  Paul wrote, "because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgression - it is by grace you have been saved" (Ephesians 2:4-5).
